This year’s Vojvodina Guitar Fest will be held for the 15th time in Novi Sad, from 21 to 24 May. All concerts begin at 7 p.m.
This year, the Festival is held within the first European platform for classical guitar called EuroStrings, which brings together the most significant guitar festivals in Europe and is co-financed from Creative Europe. The Vojvodina Guitar Fest is also an excellent overture for 2022, when the City of Novi Sad will hold the title of European Capital of Culture.
Concerts in the ‘Egység’ Cultural Station:
- 21 May
Rastko Marinković (Serbia), laureate of last year’s competition - 22 May
Petar Popović (Serbia) Đani Šehu (BiH) - 23 May

On the last day of the Festival, 24 May at 3 p.m., prof. Vera Ogrizović from the Faculty of Music Arts will hold a lecture on Wellness in Music, Mental and Physical Challenges during the Performance.
The audience will have a chance to attend the digital exhibition History of Classical Guitar in Vojvodina, which will be implemented in cooperation with the Cultural Centre of Vojvodina ‘Miloš Crnjanski’, and master workshops with local and foreign professors-lecturers within the Vojvodina Guitar Fest.
‘Dr Jovan Jovičić’ international competition will be held online, and competitors aged 7 to 30 are divided into six categories. The winner of the ‘No Age Limit’ category will be a representative of the Festival for the next Euro Strings edition in 2022.
The sponsors of the Festival are the City Administration for Culture of Novi Sad and the Provincial Secretariat for Culture.
