Puppets are an irresistible part of everybody’s life and visual aid for numerous creative teachers. They are a precious source of knowledge, gatherings, joy, acting and socialisation for their pupils.

Over two decades, the Teachers’ Association of Vojvodina, is gradually developing puppetry as a teaching tool in the Republic of Serbia, within which Novi Sad takes a central role. It is an initiative by the teacher Vera Stojšić Gašparovski, with the professional support from Milivoje and Ana-Marija Radaković and numerous associates. The Primary Schools Puppetry Festival, puppetry workshops and trainings play a key role in the teaching process.

You can see the result of their work until 3 October, in the Egység Cultural Station, where you will have a chance to enjoy the ‘Teachers and Theatre Guignol Puppets’ exhibition, including 65 Guignol puppets. The exhibition will be open on working days, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
