The Contemporary Serbian Composers Music for Piano Duo concert will be implemented in ‘Egység’ Cultural Station on 28 May at 7 p.m. Due to the limited number of seats registrations are required via form.
The project was created with the desire to acquaint the public with the works of our composers, academicians Svetislav Božić and Vladimir Tošić.
The music of Svetislav Božić is turned to the past and finds its melody in Byzantine chanting, while Vladimir Tošić is our famous minimalist and his music is dashing, filled with the liveliness of various rhythmic movements.
All works for the Contemporary Serbian Composers Music for Piano Duo project were written for piano four hands and are different in the way they are composed, although they belong to programme music.
Pianists Jelena Đajić, D9.A.,and Miloš Pavlović, MA, associate professors at the Faculty of Music, will perform at the concert.
This project is supported by Sokoj and will be presented in Belgrade and Niš
