Alice in Wonderland in a Slightly Different Way in Egység

The audience had a chance to watch the immersive play Alice in Wonderland, directed by Vladislav Velkovski and Ivana Antić, in the Egység Cultural Station on 21 September, within the Week of Literature of the Kaleidoscope of Culture.

Immersive theatre is a form of interactive theatre and is not performed on a classical stage, but in an appropriate place that can be connected with a drama work. The actors address the viewer as an individual and invite him to participate in the play.

The ensemble of immersive contemporary theatre – TITE was formed in 2020 with the desire to nurture a new kind of contemporary theatrical expression, and Louis Carroll’s novel ‘Alice in Wonderland’ was chosen because of the fantastic plot of the novel which gives the opportunity to play with space, the main element of the immersive theatre.
