‘A deeply impressive pianist of great spirit and intellectual strength’– this is how music critic Michael Tumelty described the pianist of inviolable talent, Mohammad Shams.
This extraordinary musician, as a soloist, played all over the world with world-famous orchestras. On 18 December he was a guest of the Egység Cultural Station, at the final concert of the Artlink Festival entitled ‘Cities, Festivals, Artists’. This remarkable Egyptian pianist presented himself to the audience with works by Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, as well as works by Egyptian composers. He was joined on stage by pianist Jovanka Višekruna Janković, performing several Slavic plays by Dvorák.
