The ‘Amabile Duo’ from Banja Luka, which consists of oboist Jasna Grahovac and pianist Timea Hotić, will perform in the Egység Cultural Station on 7 August. The concert starts at 8 p.m.
Jasna and Timea started their cooperation a few years ago, first playing together in chamber ensembles, and then independently. This year, they performed at the ‘Days of Vlado S. Milošević’, one of the most important musical events in the Republic of Srpska, at a concert dedicated to the music of the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns.
‘Amabile Duo’ is planning a series of concerts called Reunion concerts, in the desire to promote artistic music and delight the audience with the sounds of these noble instruments after a long break caused by the pandemic. The programme will include compositions by Schumann, Saint-Saëns, Despić and Ravel, written for oboe and piano.
